GiraSile: Ring route of the river hamlets and of the Via Claudia Augusta, the ancient Roman Imperial Road

The itinerary winds among the most important river hamlets overlooking the Sile river: Lughignano di Casale sul Sile, Casale sul Sile, Quarto d'Altino, Musestre di Roncade, Cendon di Silea. The historic Roman road called "Via Claudia Augusta" departs from Altino, crosses Quarto d'Altino, connects Musestre with Silea's territory and goes on northwards. It can be mainly covered on foot or by bike.
The main points of interest are the following ones: Porto di Cendon - Villa Fanio-Cervellini - Torre Carrarese in Casale - S. Michele Vecchio in Quarto d'Altino -  S. Ulderico Church in Musestre.
