Paddling among the springs
Paddling in the current in rubber rafting dinghies, from the small village of Morgano to the upper lake of Quinto di Treviso, formerly a gravel quarry, now the perfect habitat for numerous water birds. A thrilling journey through a green tunnel made up of crystal clear water, wild meanders, flowers and animals, finally undisputed masters of their environment.

On the Sile with a bubble of air *
Paddling on a voyage of discovery along the Sile between Casier and Casale, feeling part of the river thanks to a simple, essential, but above all safe and silent boat. A day to let yourself be seduced by the water, accompanied by the quiet, the flight of a mallard, the remains of an old burcio, a mill, a Veneto villa...

The route of the burci *
You start out from Treviso in rubber dinghies to follow the route of the burci, the old cargo boats which incessantly plied the Sile and the lagoon. The itinerary passes the port of Fiera, the old abandoned mills and the "Cemetery of the Burci", a loop of the river where some twenty or so of these boats were abandoned thirty years ago and are slowly rotting to become part of the river again. A descent accompanied by appetising taverns, characteristic villages lining the river, glimpses of an unexpectedly beautiful nature and absolutely unusual emotions for an area so profoundly altered by the hand of man.

From the Lagoon to Treviso
To go up the Sile on a motorboat is something everyone can enjoy. From Portegrandi to Treviso there are an infinity of corners able to amaze even the most distracted visitor. Like the boatmen of times past, you go up river from the Venice lagoon to the centre of Treviso where you disembark near the old Port of Fiera for a delightful walk along the towpath, steeped with history and traditions lost elsewhere.

* The trips proposed can also be made on special motorboats constructed with a profile designed to avoid wash. The trip will be accompanied by the explanation of a guide specialised in natural history able to offer you the best possible encounter with the river.

Excursion in the Cervara Marshes
Just after the Mill along the main path through the Reserve you come to the boathouse where the pantane, the typical boats of the Sile, were kept. The marshland economy has always been based on intensive fishing, gathering reed tops (scoéte) and cutting straw for animal rearing and local crafts. All these activities took place along the river and in the marshes thanks to the pantana (otherwise known as "a barca da Sil") a flat bottomed boat with a truncated prow and stern propelled by the boatman using an "àtoea", a pole made from willow wood (selghèr) which as well as being light and strong had the advantage of being easily found locally. Today, thanks to its low impact on the ecosystem the pantana gives discerning visitors a different perspective from which to enjoy the Cervara marshes which, with times and rhythms far removed from the civilisation of the motor and engine, are generous with their secrets and attractions.

A boat can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults and the boatman.
